Hebrews 2; New King James Version (NKJV)
Do Not Neglect Salvation
2 Therefore we
must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift
away. 2 For if the word
spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience
received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so
great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was
confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with
signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit,
according to His own will?
The Son Made Lower than
Angels
5 For He has not
put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place,
saying:
“What is man that You are mindful
of him,
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
7 You have made him a little lower than the angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor,
And set him over the works of Your hands.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
7 You have made him a little lower than the angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor,
And set him over the works of Your hands.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
For in that He
put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under
him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little
lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor,
that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Bringing Many Sons to Glory
10 For it was
fitting for Him, for whom are all things and
by whom are all things, in
bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect
through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those
who are being sanctified are all of one,
for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying:
“I will declare Your name to My
brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”
In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”
13 And again:
“I will put My trust in Him.”
And again:
“Here am I and the children whom
God has given Me.”
14 Inasmuch then
as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in
the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death,
that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of
death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to
angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be
made like His brethren, that
He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to
make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered,
being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
I have
waited for your salvation,
O Lord!
And
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish
for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more
forever.
The Lord is my strength and song, And He has
become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s
God, and I will exalt Him.
“But
Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; You grew fat, you grew thick, You are obese! Then
he forsook God who made him, And scornfully esteemed the
Rock of his salvation.
[ Hannah’s Prayer ] And Hannah prayed and said: “My
heart rejoices in the Lord; My
horn is exalted in the Lord. I
smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.
The God
of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my
refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence.
“You
have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has
made me great.
“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock
of my salvation!
Sing to
the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim the
good news of His salvation from day to day.
He also shall be my salvation, For a hypocrite
could not come before Him.
Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah
That I
may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion . I will
rejoice in Your salvation.
But I
have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
Oh, that
the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion ! When
the Lord brings back the captivity of His
people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be
glad.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my
deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of
my salvation, my stronghold.
You have
also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me
up, Your gentleness has made me great.
The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
He
shall receive blessing from the Lord, And
righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Lead
me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all
the day.
[ A Psalm of David. ] The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom
shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall
I be afraid?
And
my soul shall be joyful in the Lord; It
shall rejoice in His salvation.
But
the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Make
haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
I
have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your
faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your
Loving kindness and Your truth From the great assembly.
Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as
love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”
Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your
righteousness.
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not
be greatly moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.
That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah
“Rejoice
greatly, O daughter of Zion !
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem ! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on
a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.
And
has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of His servant
David,
To
give knowledge of salvation to His people By the remission of
their sins,
And
behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon,
and this man was just and devout, waiting for the
Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
For
my eyes have seen Your salvation
And
all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”
And
Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he
also is a son of Abraham;
You
worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.
Nor
is there salvation in any other, for there is no other
name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
“Men and brethren, sons of the family of
Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent.
For
so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That
you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
This
girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants
of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”
“Therefore
let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles,
and they will hear it!”
Romans 1New King James Version (NKJV)
Greeting
1 Paul, a
bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle,
separated to the gospel of God 2 which He promised before through His
prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our
Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God
with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the
dead.5 Through Him we
have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all
nations for His name, 6 among whom you also are the called of
Jesus Christ;
7 To all who are
in Rome , beloved of
God, called to be saints:
Grace to you and peace from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Desire to Visit Rome
8 First, I thank
my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of
throughout the whole world. 9 For God is my witness, whom I serve
with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of
you always in my prayers, 10 making request if, by some means, now
at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. 11 For I long to see you, that I may
impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— 12 that is, that I may be encouraged
together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13 Now I do not
want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was
hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among
the other Gentiles. 14 I am a debtor both to Greeks and to
barbarians, both to wise and to unwise. 15 So, as much as is in me, I am ready to
preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.
The Just Live by Faith
16 For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the
power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also
for the Greek.17 For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall
live by faith.”
God’s Wrath on
Unrighteousness
18 For the wrath
of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of
men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is
manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.20 For since the creation of the world His
invisible attributes are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal
power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they
did not glorify Him as God, nor
were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts
were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became
fools, 23 and changed
the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and
birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God
also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor
their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the
lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is
blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason
God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural
use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the
natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men
committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their
error which was due.
28 And even as
they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness,
sexual immorality, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit,
evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent,
proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving,
unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of
God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do
the same but also approve of those who practice them.
For
with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
I
say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through
their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for
now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
Now
if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective
for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted,
it is for your consolation and salvation.
For
He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
For
godly sorrow produces repentance leading
to salvation, not to
be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation; in whom
also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God;
and not in any way terrified by your
adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
But let us who are of the day be sober,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but
to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
But we are bound to give thanks to God
always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning
chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit
and belief in the truth,
Therefore I endure all things for the
sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ
Jesus with eternal glory.
and that from childhood you have known
the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus.
For
the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
Are
they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will
inherit salvation?
Therefore
we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift
away.
how
shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first
began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
For
it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to
glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings.
And
having been perfected, He became the author
of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
But,
beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that
accompany salvation,
though we speak in this manner.
so
Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for
Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
who
are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
receiving
the end of your faith—the salvationof your souls.
Of
this salvation the prophets have inquired and
searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you,
and
consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved
brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,
Beloved,
while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary
to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once
for all delivered to the saints.
and
crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and
to the Lamb!”
Then
I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation,
and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have
come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and
night, has been cast down.
After these things I heard a loud voice
of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!

My Comments: I can not expound on the Word of God who is
Jesus the Messiah our Lord as He has had Prophets, Apostles, and others write
His Word so well. Suffice it to say His Word is truth. His Word will lead on to
the truth which is Himself and thereby one will know they are sinners and in
need of a Savior. He is that Savior. Call on the name of Jesus confessing your
sin, trusting in Him and you shall be saved. He is the Salvation of the world
foretold by the Prophets. The Apostles suffered for the truth of the Gospel of
Jesus. Many died horrible deaths because they would not recant what they knew
first hand to be true. Many are dieing today because they know and speak the
truth of the Gospel of Jesus the Christ.
They all have salvation because they have the Lord Jesus and
are adopted Sons and Daughters of Father God. They are filled with His Holy
Spirit and will one day be with Him. Those of us who are still here and
proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus and trusting in His Holy Name will also one day
be with Him in glory. I pray you also will be with Him. Yet I know many will
think they are saved/Born Again as I too did at one time, and they are not
because they do not know the true Jesus, the Son of God and are not filled with
His Holy Spirit. No man or woman can design their own salvation. It comes
through the precious blood of Jesus which was shed once and only once for the
remission of sin. Jesus suffered and died so we might live eternally. Confess
your sin, accept His free gift of Salvation and be filled with His Holy Spirit
who will comfort, guide and teach you His mysteries.
Abba Father may Your kingdom come soon and quickly. You are
the God of Heaven and Earth and all the Universes. You are the Creator or
everything seen and not seen. Your name is Holy and should only be used with
love. Your will is above all wills, You are our God and You sent Your only
begotten Son Jesus to suffer and die for our sin that we may become Your Sons
and Daughters. We thank You for the suffering of Jesus unto our salvation and
we thank You for what You as the Father had to suffer as Your son suffered the
cruelty of mankind and took on the sin of the whole world. Forgive us Father
for our transgressions. Purify us with Your Holy Word made flesh. Fill us with
Your Holy Spirit. Fill us with Your heart. Help us to see and hear all that You
are trying to teach us. Help us to speak and think only what is pleasing to You
and may all we do glorify Your Holy Name. In the precious Name of Jesus in
union with the Holy Spirit we pray. Amen.
Rebishka
