Jesus, Immanuel loves us all

Romans 9:25-26 (As He says also in Hosea)

"I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’
And her who was not beloved, ‘Beloved.’ “
And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them,
'You are not My people,'
There they shall be called sons of the living God."  (New American Standard Bible, revised edition)
My Comments: These two verses in the Old and New Testament talk about those who come to believe on Jesus Christ the Savior and believe His Gospel and become Born Again through the Blood of Jesus on the Cross.
In verse 33 it says,
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” (which references from the Old Testament Isiah)

He will be aa sanctuary, But a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense To both the houses of IsraelAa trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
And as the Apostle Paul continued to write in
Romans 10:1
"Brethren, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation."
This is my heart for the people who have always been called His own, the Jewish race, yet I also pray it for all Gentiles and especially for my family and loved ones that all would come to know and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Jesus was a stumbling block when He walked, preached and even when He died on the Cross to His brethren and yet is, also today, to a world growing darker and darker with sin.
My Comments: I received a blessed call from one of my adult Grandsons, one day, who told me, “Grammie, I have something you have been waiting a long time to hear, I accepted Jesus.” This was my second adult Grandson in 3 months to have called me to say they had accepted the free gift of Jesus and they were not ones who people would have thought would come to know and follow Jesus and give their lives to Him. Then two of my little Grandchildren then three and five said they wanted to be saved and still nearly three years later still profess His name. I pray God all their roots go deep into the soil of God’s Holy Word so they will never be uprooted. I pray God will bring the rest of my family and Loved Ones and any who are in darkness into the light and I pray they use their free will to accept and follow Him.
It is a free gift given by the grace of God to those who know they have sinned and want their sins to be taken away as far as the east is from the west so they may become the Children of God Almighty. Only Jesus has ever done this for us (He is the only intercessor to the Father, none other) but to be His we must use our free will to accept the gift of redemption (it is a gift and there is nothing other than accepting the gift of redemption from Jesus Christ that will save us and give us rebirth).
The gift that stumbled people in Christ's time and still stumbles many now. Jesus is the only answer. One must come to Him then fill themselves with His Word to grow in His grace and be Sanctified.
Here are more verses to check out to find out more about the promises of God and why Jesus is the only answer to everything.
Romans 10:8-13.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 6:44-51
44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’[a] Therefore everyone who has heard and learned[b] from the Father comes to Me. 46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me[c] has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
John 14:1-17
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
John 10:1-5
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”
John 6:37-40
37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 3:26-36
26 And they came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified—behold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!” 27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. 28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’ 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. 33 He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. 34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 10:14-18
14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
And: Romans 1:15/16
15 So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
My Comments Continued: The Jews are and always will be God’s chosen people and when the Bible speaks of the Greek it is referring to the Gentiles which is all who are not of the Jewish race. And when we accept Jesus as our Savior we become into the family of God as well bought by the precious blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ the Son of God and Son of Man the second person of the Holy Trinity. Then at the moment of being Born Again we are filled with the Holy Spirit the third person of the Holy Trinity who will teach us through the word of God the Father the First Person of the Holy Trinity.
We are born into sin because of the first Adam and we have sin natures that only the presence of God abiding within us can change and this change begins the moment we are Born Again as Jesus said we must be. It is because of the redemption through the blood of Jesus that we will one day stand before the Throne of God without trembling because we are assured of His mercy because He will only see His Son in whom He is well pleased.

Abba, Father I raise up the nation of Israel and all Gentiles and our families to You that their ears may be opened to Your Word and their hearts softened to Your calling. You call all to be Your children through the Gospel of Your Son, Jesus our Messiah and Redeemer. I thank You for all who this day will bow down before the Cross of Jesus confess their sin and be reborn into the Family of God. I thank You Lord for all You do to show everyone Your love for them even when times seem beyond bearing. Thank You for being there with us through everything. You promised never to leave us and for that I am truly grateful. Thank You Jesus for Your shed Blood and the Cross. May we all stand true to You and Your Word. Thank You Holy Spirit for filling us with the knowledge, understanding, discernment and wisdom of the Word. In Jesus, Immanuel, with the Holy Spirit I pray, Amen.

  1. Sorry I had to delete the previous posting as it had some mistakes and wanted to make sure it was valid. Please forgive me for not catching it sooner. I should not have rushed even thought my time at the Library was over. I wish I had saved it and just worked on it later. Again I am sorry for any inconvenience to your studies and your walk. I pray this makes more sense.
