Love God, Love your neighbor and have Joy

"And when they had come to him, he said to them: "You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you, serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews; how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:18-21
Paul wrote, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:1 New King James Version NKJV
 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV
He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 1 John 2:4-5 NKJV
My Comments: Paul’s life made a difference as did all the Apostles who were with Him after the Crucifixion. Their lives showed their changes from lives not lived for God to ones lived for the Lord Jesus who they knew was the Son of God, God incarnate who had dwelt among them. We know Him as well when we are truly Born Again and ask Him to dwell within us. We show the change in our lives by what we turn away from and what we then do with our lives.
Bear on another’s burdens, cry with one who suffers, rejoice with one who rejoices, turn the other cheek, pray for one another; in other words we live our lives to bring glory and honor to Abba Father as Christ Jesus did when He dwelt among His Apostles and Disciples 2,000 years ago. How do we bring Him glory and honor? We do it daily by the lives we live for Him. We do it daily by living by His commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your entire mind.” And “Love your neighbor as yourself.” These two exemplify the whole of the Ten Commandments God the Father gave to Moses on Mt. Sinai.
And as John the Beloved said, “Love.” You see if we love God above all else even above ourselves, children, spouses, parents, “things,” positions, pride, self,  then we will love our neighbor and always seek to serve and help others with joy in our hearts because we are serving the Lord God when we serve others. We are and will be happy when our eyes are on God the Father and not on ourselves and our situations. If we love then we are in Him and He is in us and that my beloved is the Joy of the Lord.
It is not enough that when we are Born Again that we turn from all the things we were “into.” If we are truly Born Again there is a real significant difference in our lives and how we live. For some the change is gradually but even then it is a steady change away from the old life. As a flower slowly opens so your life may slowly change yet when the flower is under the sun and watered correctly and nurtured with good soil then it may open even faster. So it is true with us. When we are in the Word of God and going to a good sound Bible believing church and fellowshipping and praying then we grow faster in the grace and humility of the Lord Jesus Christ because we allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us. Those who do not change and remain essentially the same as the day before they said some words to accept Jesus as their savior, They may not be Born Again. They are like the seed planted on bad ground. Be sure your ground is healthy and that you water the soil with the Word of God and turn to Him for Your nourishment and you will bring Him glory and honor and one day stand before Him and hear, “Well done good and faithful servant.”
Abba Father, help us to turn totally to You. Help us to turn our lives and everything over to You. Help us to serve others as serving You. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so we may love others as You love them, see others as You see them and serve others as You would have us serve them with Your love. Write Your Commandments on our hearts and keep us as the apple of Your eye.  In Jesus name in union with Your Holy Spirit I pray. Amen.

Peace in the storm

Psalm 62:1-2 New King James Version (NKJV)
To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
Acts 12:6 (NKJV)
"And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison."
John 16:33 (NKJV)
Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
 Rev 21:3-4( NKJV)
 "And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
John 3:16-18 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

My Comments: How many times do we find ourselves saying things like, “I want…(to go, do or have something).”  Or “I worry about…(something, situation, need family member),” and or “I have to do... to make things work or help…” In other words we are concerned and we think we should solve our situation or concern. First Abba Father wants us to turn to Him first and to trust Him for the answer. Yet looking at these passages as well as others we know that when we are saved we become Children of God.
When we are a child we are taken care of by our parent. God being our Father will take care of us better than any earthly parent. In the passage Acts 12:6 Peter was to be executed yet he slept peacefully. Why? Because he trusted the Father to take care of him. He knew the truth of the Gospel. You see he knew when he died he would go to Heaven with the Lord God and if he lived he would do the Lords bidding. He also knew when he would die. When God allowed and not before. He was at peace in his situation.
In John 16:33 Jesus tells us (and Peter heard it as well) that there is peace in Him even when there is tribulation in the world and to be of good cheer. In other places in the Word of God we are told there is Joy in the Lord. Why? Because of our salvation! We are His people as spoken in Revelation 21:3-4, He Jesus the Tabernacle is with us and He is our God who will wipe every tear and in Him there is no more death, sorrow, pain or crying. Does that mean we will not sorrow or have painful situations here? No. It means because of our salvation we will have His strength (if we want and accept it) to go through the situations because He will be with us and will go through them with us.
Loved ones I pray you have or will at this moment accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and ask His Holy Spirit to come into you to guide and instruct you, to comfort and strengthen you, to fill you with His wisdom and knowledge so you will trust in Him as Daniel in the lions den and Joseph who was sold into slavery.
Beloved our Lord’s timing is not ours and His solutions to our situations may not be ours yet if we trust Him and His love for us they will be the best timing and the best solution for our situations.
If we or a loved one is not healed but taken home we trust Him. Home is the best healing. It is the prize we who are His look forward to. A new job may be the beginning of a better future and a stronger walk with our Lord. Our child not getting into the school we want them in may be the best solution for their walk with God. I could go on and on yet one always needs to trust in Abba Father, who loves His children, to do what is best for them spiritually as well as physically. When Christ is in the boat with us the storm calms and we can be at peace.
Abba Father, we praise and glorify Your Holy Name and ask You to forgive us when we worry and do not turn to You as situations arise. Help us Lord to turn to You in all things so we may be instructed and strengthened and filled with Your glory and peace. Fill us with the Joy of Your salvation, Jesus, and anoint our hearts so we will not falter when walking on the water. Keep our eyes on You Lord and fill us with the hope of the Resurrection and Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen.

We need to love God first and others second

Ten Commandments from the Old Testament:
  1. You shall have no other god’s before Me.
  2. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord you God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal,.
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his oz or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
These will be found in:
Exodus 20:3-17 and Deuteronomy 5:7-21
And From the New Testament:
Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” “You shall Love your neighbor as yourself.” “On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37, 39
Jesus said, “Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” And: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” “There is not other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30 and 31
And in John 13:34 is the commandment Jesus gave to those who are His.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
and the Jesus said in John 15:10-17:
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandment’s and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slave, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another.”
My Comments: As a child going to school in California I remember going for part of the day to a couples home down the street from the school. We were walked there and it was something that in those days was sanctioned by the public school.
At the home of this nice couple we were taught the Bible and the Commandments of the Father. We had to memorize verses in order to earn a Bible. I did not earn a Bible as memorizing was a difficult thing for me, but I did try. We sang songs and read the Bible and were loved on by that sweet couple. I do remember I learned the Ten Commandments though and they stood me in good stead growing up. Not to say I always did the right thing all the time though I did know right from wrong.  I am very thankful for those two being a part of my early life.
When I think how our children are loosing out on learning about the Bible, God and the Ten Commandments in the public school system I am saddened. And it is not just in school that America misses out on learning truth. The Ten Commandments that our laws were founded on and our courts were governed by have been removed due to a minority of people forcing their removal. The more we move as a country away from God and His commandments the weaker our country gets.
Our children are growing up without morals that the Commandments fostered and nurtured in the generations that preceded them.  Our children run the streets and form gangs at alarming rates because they do not have the “family” to guide them and teach them wrong from right. Families knew what was right because they had God’s word to guide them. Now they have the Government telling them and they see the government being caught in lies and deceptions and they are confused. When the commandments of God guided them they were not confused.
Jesus came not to abolish the law or the Prophets, or get rid of it but “to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17). He brought love. The Law was to point us to Him (Jesus) and He points us to the Father. Jesus said there are two Commands He left us and that was to love God with all our heart, mind and soul and others as ourselves as all the Commandments rest on these two. All rest on truly loving God completely then we will not desire to do anything that will hurt Him (He cries when we do wrong because it hurts our souls).
Jesus, laid down His life for us in the greatest gift of Love ever. He willingly allowed Himself to be crucified for us. And because He did go to the Cross for us in our place we can become Children of God the Father by confessing our sin and accepting the free gift of Salvation that Jesus obtained for us.
Abba Father, thank You for giving us the guidance of Your Ten Commandments so we will be able to live our lives to glorify You.  I pray You prick all hearts with Your commandments so people will know their need for salvation. My hearts desire if for my family and loved ones and the whole world to come to You through Your Son Jesus Christ.
Thank You Jesus for Your wonderful love. Thank You for showing us how to follow the commandments of the Father and how to love our neighbor.
Thank You Holy Spirit for opening our hearts to the truth and for Your guidance.
I pray we all will love more and serve each other as Christ loved and served. Then hopefully, the world will see Him in us and desire to follow Him. In Jesus name I pray all to the Father through His Son Jesus the Christ in union with His Holy Spirit, Amen.

By His Grace I was saved, even in my ignorance to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:12-13 New King James Version (NKJV)
"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief."

 2 Corinthians 3:1-17 (NKJV)

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you? You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
The Spirit, Not the Letter
And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit;[a] for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Glory of the New Covenant
But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.
12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— 13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
My Comments: Many of you have read my story previously yet I should at this point share with you about my youth and why it is amazing to me that the Lord has called me to be His and the Child of God, His Beloved and has laid on my heart the lost and dieing.
As I said before I was molested and raped multiple times in my life and it started as a child by family members and babysitters. With that said I was a party to childhood indiscretions that now days are looked on as “oh, their just experimenting, their just children, they don’t know any better.” All of those statements are totally untrue. I knew better.
 The Spirit tells us even as children when we are doing wrong no matter what the reasons we give ourselves or others tell us. We are not animals to mess around like they do. God gave us a conscience.
And it bugged me big time even when I did the things that society calls experimenting.  The “Experimenting” went on through my teen years. I thank God that I was never able to quell my conscience. I let men use my body yet God protected my heart and soul. My secret child life nearly took me down roads and fascinations that could have damned my soul and if I had died during that time before accepting Jesus I know I would have been sent to Hell. When we go against the will of God we make the choice to send ourselves to Hell. God does not want that for us.
I am thankful He pursued me and showed me the way to salvation. I was transformed into the image of Jesus to show the glory of God by the Spirit of God. No longer did I belong to Satan now I belong to my Abba Father and I am His child and He lives in me.

Abba Father, I pray you touch all hearts of those who read Your Holy and true Word. May the scales fall from their eyes and their hearts be melted in Your Love for them. May Your Holy Spirit speak to them and give them wisdom, discernment, knowledge and understanding of Your Word and Your will. I pray You heal the hearts of all who read Your Words, hear Your message of the Gospel and please and guide all. May all confess their sin, and accept Jesus as Savior and go forth and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus.
And as all go forth and proclaim Your Gospel, the Gospel of Jesus the Christ who came to die so we may live, who rose to show us all that once we accept Jesus, we too shall live forever with You, may our walk with You be strengthened and our knowledge and understanding our Your Word grow continually.
In Jesus name in union with the Holy Spirit I pray. Amen

Just an update on my walk with Abba Father

Hi my beloved friends,
I just thought it might be good to add a few words of where I am in my walk with Abba Father since my sweetheart and hubby went home to be with our Lord.
Last year about this same time I had the two partial knee surgeries and while recovering for the first month in a care center, the Lord used me to help keep a lady in my room alive three different times. It is wonderful the way the Lord uses everything in our lives to glorify Him.
Then I came back home to my new rental and became a part of the body of a wonderful church worshiping and serving our Lord God. I used to work with young children and adults in abused and family situations. Now I am volunteering in the 5th and 6th grade room once a month and fellowshipping with parents who have small children while sharing the wisdom God has given me. What a blessing.
Our Lord let me know I was being sent to "Darkest Africa" (no not the real Africa but very dark) and that I would be ministering to my family who are mostly not saved. This is what I have been doing for the last year.
I have an older daughter who has moved in with me and we are trying to find her employment while working on a closer relationship in the Lord with her. I have two of my sons and their families who live close and now am blessed to take several of the Grandchildren to church with me on Sunday's so they also stay overnight on Saturdays which is a wonderful blessing for me.
Well, beloveds this is where I am for now and it will be exciting to see where the Lord directs my path in the coming year. I pray He is working in your lives to grow and strengthen your walk with Him. Remember adversity will bring us closer to Him. Turn to Him first before doing anything. Many mistakenly think that God helps those who help themselves and this could not be further from the truth and is not Biblical.
Our Lord shows us in the Old and New Testament that He wants us to ask Him first not when it gets too tough and we have tried all we can. You have financial trials and you go to the bank for a loan, right? NO!!! You go in pray to the Lord. Seek ye first His guidance and strength. Lean not on your own understanding. Fear not. Do you remember these words? Good. No matter what the situation, lust, tendency to lie or steal, gossip, lost job, no job, spouse leaves, child passes on.... It does not matter. Turn to Jesus and He will be there for you. He will not take it away all the time but He will go through it and give you His guidance through His Holy Spirit and His strength and always His loving embrace to comfort you.
Abba Father, I lift my heart and hands to You who created the Universe and us. I seek You guidance and advice for our lives and our walk with You. May all we do glorify You and bring others to know, love and serve You and in Your name. Help us always to go to You first in everything. Help us to seek Your counsel, wisdom and understand in all situations and to rely on You at all times. In Jesus name, Amen

God Takes Care of His Own. First Cave Psalm

2 Corinthians 1:10, New King James Version (NKJV)

10 who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,

Psalm 34, (NKJV)

The Happiness of Those Who Trust in God

A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.

34 I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.
My Comments: I know I said I would try to keep the amount of the post to a small amount, ahem, yet this all goes together so I included it all. My main focus was to show how our loving Abba Father takes care of us and He does it even when we do not do all we should do as His children. Sort of like our children do as they are growing up. Hopefully, we grow and walk away from Him less as we mature.
In the verse 1:10 of 2 Corinthians, we see how the Lord has taken care and will take care of us. We see this in several of the other verses in Psalm is several verses. Not always as we would like it to be or even think it should be. Remember, to tell God how it should be done is to set ourselves above Him and in effect tell Him we ourselves know best so we must be god’s. Sort of like our children when they tell us how we should give them what they want and when they want it, Right? Well, they are not the parent and we are not god’s that we can tell God how He should handle our situation or anyone’s. We grow up thinking we are entitled so we approach God in the same way. And the way society is we are fed that nonsense daily. Children get it even more in their classrooms or interactions with children who have not learned better. Yet we are not children and we should know better and so should have David.
Here is the man after God’s own heart who God chose to be and anointed to be King over His people, going to a kingdom of people who were against His people and asking for asylum (in fact this is Moab where Goliath came from and God had forbidden them to be with) from King Saul. King Saul has turned his back on God and now is deluded, jealous and hateful towards David who never did anything against King Saul.
We see in 1Samuel all that has transpired up to David running to the hills and to Moab with 400 following him and his parents and brothers as well. David feigns being an idiot (in front of King Achish of Gath in 1Samuel 21)with drool coming out of his mouth and everything, so he will not be killed by his enemies. Read 1 Samuel and you will see how easy it is for even one chosen of God to go astray and not trust in the Lord completely. Yet David continued to know where his help would come from and when you read the three Cave Psalms you will see a man who though doing what he thinks is right (though he was wrong) still sought after God and His help and so should we.
I will post two more entries in the next few days and let you read, reread and meditate on these verses. I recommend you read 1Samuel if possible to get a better background on the story of David and Saul as it is good to have background and foundation for a study.
Abba Father, thank You for Your Word given to the Prophets that You sent with Your Word to show us how we should and should not live our lives. May we learn the truths You have written in Your Word. May we glorify You in how we use Your Word in our walk with You. May we daily grow in Your Word and Abba Father, grow our faith and understanding, enrich us with Your wisdom and knowledge. Not for ourselves but to bring glory to Your name and others to Your Kingdom.
Lord Jesus, help us to see You as we read the Word and grow in it daily. Help us to allow You to use us more and may our praise of You be always what others see in us.
Holy Spirit grow our faith and trust that we will never doubt or question why things happen the way they do yet we will rely completely on our Heavenly Father and trust Him at all times. Let us not be like David and Saul and think we have to do it ourselves when we have a Father who can and will do everything that needs to be done. Let us be like David who eventually turned to Abba Father and gave Him the glory and praise.
In Jesus name in union with the Holy Ghost I pray, Amen

Holy Spirit Study 7

This study will show the authorship of divine prophecies as well as that the Holy Spirit is a part of the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:21; New King James Version (NKJV)

21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Comment: Here the authorship of prophecy comes by the Holy Spirit.

2 Samuel 23:2; (NKJV)

“The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me,
And His word was on my tongue.
Comment: Again men spoke not their own words. They spoke the word as it came to them from the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is referred to as the Lord (Lord in the Old Testament is Jehovah in Hebrew). Shows His (Lord/Jehovah and the Holy Spirit are the author of Prophecy. They placed the prophetic words into the mouths of the Prophets.

2 Samuel 23:3; (NKJV)

The God of Israel said,
The Rock of Israel spoke to me:
‘He who rules over men must be just,
Ruling in the fear of God.
Comment: God is the author of divine prophecy.

Isaiah 6:3; (NKJV)

And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”

Isaiah 6:5; (NKJV)

So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.”

Isaiah 6:8-10; (NKJV)

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
And He said, “Go, and tell this people:
‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
10 “Make the heart of this people dull,
And their ears heavy,
And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart,
And return and be healed.
Comment: It is noteworthy to point out where this passage says, “voice of the Lord (Jehovah) saying ‘Whom shall I send’ the ‘who will go for Us?’”  This is not referring to many gods but to the One who is three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This passage is also here as it is referred to in the New Testament in the context of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Acts 28:25-27; (NKJV)

25 So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, 26 saying,
‘Go to this people and say:
“Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand;
And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull.
Their ears are hard of hearing,
And their eyes they have closed,
Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”’
Comment: Here in Acts the text refers back to Isaiah (note previous verse).

John 12:39-41; (NKJV)

39 Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:
40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,
Lest they should see with their eyes,
Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,
So that I should heal them.”
41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.
Comment: This references the passage in Isaiah yet it refers to Christ Jesus so we see the connection of the Holy Spirit and Jesus (and with looking at each place we see the Father, Son (Christ Jesus Messiah) and the Holy Spirit (the tri-personality of God as noted by R. A. Torrey in his book The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit which can be read in it’s entirety on line by using the search engine Google).

Exodus 16:7; (NKJV)

And in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord. But what are we, that you complain against us?”

Comment: In Moses time they were referred to as murmuring against Jehovah (Lord in Old Testament always is Jehovah in Hebrew).

Hebrews 3:7-9; (NKJV)

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
Comment: Here in referencing Exodus 16:7 the Holy Spirit says. Clearly both bible verses are referring to the God Jehovah and Holy Spirit as one.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6; (NKJV)

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

Comments: Spirit and Lord or Jehovah God work all in all.

Matthew 28:19; (NKJV)

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Comment: Here the triune is clearly spoken of in Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:14; (NKJV)

14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Comment: The triune oneness is here clearly stated again (we call this the Holy Trinity). God is one and He is three in one hence the Holy Trinity.

Acts 5:3-4; (NKJV)

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

Comment: Here Peter tells Ananias he lied to the Holy Spirit and to God (which are one with Christ Jesus).

These verses with the other six studies previous show the triuneness of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Spirit has been from before the beginning of the creation of the world because He was not created as He is one with the Father and the Son. Reading the word of God is very important and before reading one must ask the Holy Spirit to guide them in their reading and understanding of the word. He points us always to the Son who is Jesus the Christ the Jewish Messiah and the Savior of the World because He is the Lamb of God sacrificed for the sin of the whole world. But to receive His sacrifice we must confess our sin, turn from sin and accept Jesus as our Savior. Jesus, in all He did (and does), pointed us to the Father as when He taught the Apostles to pray, “Our Father who art in Heaven…”

The Holy Spirit opens out hearts and minds to the Word of God and to the presence of the Son Jesus the Christ. I pray you open your heart and mind to the call of Jesus to you through the Holy Spirit so you too, may know the saving grace of Jesus in your life.

Abba Father, send Your Holy Spirit to prick the hearts of each to bring them to Your Son Jesus’ saving grace so they too, may be “Sons of God” and know what it is to be adopted into the family of God. Thank You, Abba Father, for sending Your Son into the world to redeem us as the final sacrifice and blood offering of Your Lamb, Oh Lord God.

Jesus my Lord and Savior thank You for Your sacrifice and for giving the whole world the chance to be saved by Your grace and not by works. Touch all who read Your word and help them to trust in God the Father and know that He, You and the Holy Spirit watch over them and is calling them to be a part of His family.

Holy Spirit cleanse the minds of all who read the Word of God and give them knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Awaken a thirst and desire to know our Father more and to know that He loves them so very much and wants them to be close to Him. Thank You for the word You speak into our heart, minds and lives.

I pray all this to the Father, in the name of the Son Jesus and with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
