If you are of God's family, show it.

1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

James 1:1, (NKJV)

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad:
Greetings.
My Comments:
This time I just wanted to share the word of God with everyone (okay that is what I desire to do always and to bring others to know our Lord Jesus). These words are words to live by. For those of us who are believers in the Way of Jesus, to not live by these words is to deny Jesus and what He did for us. For others they should see us living in the truth of the Word of Jesus.
When Believers accepted the grace of Jesus and His sacrifice they (like me) are born again and live in the light and drink from the fountain of living water (which is Jesus the Christ). Those who live in the light and drink of the living water become light and living water to the world and those around them (by their fruits they will be known).
There are many who profess the name of Jesus as Savior and proclaim His Gospel of Salvation in the world who are suffering and even dieing for His truth. They live the life Jesus has given them to the fullest to bring Him praise and glory. They do not shirk His truth to save themselves or their families. These mature Christians do not have a religion they have a faith, they have Jesus Christ the Savior within them and show love and mercy while proclaiming the truth of Jesus to their tormentors. How can they? Because Jesus truly lives in them and they in Him.
With Jesus in us we can become what Jesus wants us to become to the world.  For some it is a quick transformation and for others it is a journey that may take years. Really it depends on how much the person is in and believes the Word of God and desires to be like Jesus and filled with His Holy Spirit. Yet there are many who have only heard about Jesus and His sacrifice and proclaim and live their lives for Him. Some upon hearing are martyred quickly.
Some were the tormentors before conversion yet fully believe in Him and what He can do. So some take years to mature and that maturity comes from knowing Jesus fully and living Him. For some that is fast for others it takes years (I was reading a bad version and it took me years to understand the Word of God. It did not happen quickly for me. Yet it was complete surrender and had I died in the beginning I would have gone to be with the Lord. I am thankful He let me live and I have been blessed to serve Him and be His hands and feet and His conduit for His living water. What a blessing He has and continues to give me.
If you have not turned to Jesus and asked Him to be your savior, I pray you will. If your not sure then I urge you to read the book of John in the Bible from a version like the New King James Version, New English Standard Version or American Standard Version. If you do not have one you may read one on line or buy or borrow one. May our Lord help you find a way to read His Word.

Abba Father, we praise and glorify Your Holy name. Your name is above all others. Lord, grant to all who wish to read Your Word that a way may be found and good stewards will be found who can encourage and answer any questions all may have. Give them a thirst and a hunger that only You can quench in Your word. Feed them Jesus through Your word so they may mature and give praise and glory to Abba Father. May theirs and my life be and show You Lord Jesus to all. Thank You Father for placing in hearts a desire for Your Word and for salvation. In Jesus name in union with the Holy Spirit I pray, Amen

Rebishka
