This is a study continuing the study on the Names of God in the
Holy Bible (Old and New Testament).
The names of God in the Greek and Hebrew
when translated were put as Lord, God or others forms and in most Bibles His
names are capitalized. Following some of these I will place the name that would
have been used but there are many books or sites one may use to find out the
names. Remember the original language did not have vowels as we do.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Elohim, meaning “God” a reference to God’s power and might)
Psalm 19:1, (NKJV), To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
19 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork. (Elohim, meaning
“God” a reference to God’s power and might)
And the firmament shows His handiwork. (Elohim, meaning “God” a reference to God’s power and might)
Isaiah 40:28-31, (NKJV), (El-Olam meaning “The Everlasting
God”)
28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He
increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Malachi 1:6, (NKJV)
6 “A son honors his father,
And a servant his master.
If then I am the Father,
Where is My honor?
And if I am a Master,
Where is My reverence?
Says the Lord of hosts
To you priests who despise My name.
Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your
name?’ (Adonai meaning “Lord”, a reference
to the Lordship of God)
And a servant his master.
If then I am the Father,
Where is My honor?
And if I am a Master,
Where is My reverence?
Says the Lord of hosts
To you priests who despise My name.

a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of
adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Ephesians 5:23, (NKJV)
23 For the
husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is
the Savior of the body. (Note: this Savior of the body is Christ Jesus not the
husband. In case anyone did not notice the “He” is capitalized meaning the
Lord).
1 John 2:1, (NKJV)
2 My little
children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone
sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
